This family-estate of 12 hectares is run by Gérard Thomas and his two daughters, Anne-Sophie and Isabelle. In addition to Saint-Aubin, where the estate is located, they also produce the Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet appellations.

" Murgers des Dents de Chien" is the finest 1 er Cru in Saint Aubin adjoining the Puligny 1er Crus of Champs Gain and La Garenne and above the Grand Crus of Chevalier and Le Montrachet.

What's in a Name?: The vineyard's unusual name translates to "Piles of Dogs' Teeth". In Burgundian dialect, murgers are the high stone walls or piles built by farmers clearing their land. The sharp, jagged shapes of the limestone pieces found in this specific plot look remarkably like canine teeth.

Barrel-fermented using indigenous yeasts, 10 months in French oak casks(roughly 25% new oak) and Regular bâtonnage (lees stirring) for added weight and creaminess

The 2020 has a complex, slightly reduced, and oak-supported bouquet, the palate displays an intense core of white peach, lemon curd, and toasted hazelnut.
