Cirsion 2016; Varieties: 89% Tempranillo and 11% Graciano.

Vines: Hand selection of bunches coming from different parcels of old vines. The result of our own investigation on the polymerization of the tannins and anthocyanins in the grape. Fermentation: In French oak vats with temperature control. Malolactic in French oak barriques.
Alcohol: 14.5%
TASTING; Color: Great layer, deep, almost impenetrable. Nose: Intense, complex, enigmatic: smoke, moist earth, small black fruits and some red, even flowers. Mouth: Powerful, voluminous, delicate, with very fine tannin, a true caress to the palate. Licorice, chocolate, mint, like an exquisite candy filled with freshness. It is long, almost immense and the freshness of the fruit remains in the aftertaste. The contribution of Graciano is patent but it is perfectly integrated with the Tempranillo. The wine is huge but never excessive. Voluminous but aerial. Wide and at the same time long. A large wine of an extraordinary vintage.
VINTAGE; During the 2016 vegetative cycle, there was a total rainfall of 409 mm, distributed mostly in the months prior to sprouting. At the end of the cycle, already in the month of September, there was a significant increase in the temperatures with a storm that favoured the ripening. A year of perfect maturation, with Mediterranean influence and great wines.


Cirsion 2018; Varieties: 90% Tempranillo y 10% Graciano

Vines: Hand selection of bunches coming from different parcels of old vines. The result of our own investigation on the polymerization of the tannins and anthocyanins in the grape. Fermentation: in French oak vats with temperature control. Malolactic in French oak barriques.
Aging: 8 months in brand new French oak barriques.

Alcohol: 14.5%

TASTING NOTES; Colour: Very Deep, almost impenetrable. Very dark background, purplish red rim. Nose: Enigmatic and huge. All small black fruits and some red ones. Overflowing minerality. Wet earth and violets. Chinese ink. Dark chocolate filled with a delicious and fresh liquor. Palate: Huge volume, full of nuances. The black fruits together with the blackness of the cocoa, with some balsamic notes and the freshness of the Graciano. The impeccable oak. The texture in the palate, a dream. Very long and fresh finish.
