Situated in the Cote de Nuits sub-region of Burgundy, Gevrey-Chambertin is home to a number of prestigious wineries. The wines of Gevrey-Chambertin are renowned for their complex flavours and elegant aromas, and they are often aged for many years before being released. As a result, Gevrey-Chambertin wines represent a true investment for any serious connoisseur.

Gevrey-Chambertin is known for its deep ruby colour, high acidity, and firm tannins. The flavour profile is typically very earthy, with notes of dark fruits like cherries and plums. Additionally, this wine often has aromas of saddle leather and tobacco. When young, Gevrey-Chambertin wines can be quite rough and tannic. However, they tend to mellow beautifully with age, revealing more complex flavour profiles. Many people believe that Gevrey-Chambertin wines are some of the finest examples of Pinot Noir available.
