A bright, deep salmon or bronze-pink hue with subtle golden highlights, reflecting the intense depth of the red wine component.
Aroma (On the Nose) The nobility of red berries—prominently featuring notes of redcurrant, cherry, and wild strawberry. There is often a subtle spicy touch, linking it to the House's Special Cuvée style, and hints of toasty lees and brioche.
Palate (In the Mouth) A subtle combination of structure, length, and livacity. Flavours of wild berries are prominent, supported by a rich, full-bodied character. It has velvety-fine bubbles and a distinctive, lightly tannic finish due to the addition of red wine, which provides excellent grip and complexity.
Composition A blend of over 85% Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, typically around 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, and 14% Meunier. The rosé colour and structure come from a small, high-quality addition of 5-6% still red wine, made from Grand Cru Pinot Noir plots like La Côte aux Enfants.
