Espaço Rural is the personal project of Pedro Ribeiro and his wife, Catarine Vieira. They were both winemakers in other Portuguese regions before relocating to Vidigueira, Alentejo. They adopt methods such as low yields, careful pruning, and early harvesting - in addition to organic farming methods - in the vineyard. In tribute to winemaking traditions of the region, they ferment some of their wines in impermeable pots called Talha, where the wine and skins must remain in contact.

Grapes: Antão Vaz 50%, Arinto 30% and Alvarinho 20%

Tasting note; Golden with a tinge of green in colour. An exuberant aroma of more tropical fruits like mango. Good levels in fruit flavours with a nice amount of richness, but most importantly with a clean acidity/minerality, keeping you wanting another glug!
